Your life is a story …. scrapbook it!

Season’s Greetings

Today’s layout was made using CM’s custom cutting system with the jumbo circle.  I only needed half a circle, so that was all I cut.  I love polka dot paper, and thought this looked Christmas-y.   I also used some of CM’s Christmas stickers.  Thank you for looking today.  🙂

Great, Great, Great Grandpa

Today’s layout is also from the online sketch class I’m taking.  This page is for one of my Mom’s scrapbooks.  I know she will like it because it highlights her beloved Grandfather and her adorable great-grandson Conor.  I used scraps of paper from my black paper folder for this, and silver ABC’s, and added some silver embossed punched stars.  I also used CM’s custom cutting system – the largest circle – and cut it in half for the top semi-circle.  Thank you for looking today.

All of these ideas were made with CM punches.  Stay tuned for my next Punch Class that I hope to offer in the next couple of months, when I am back on my feet again.  Thank you for looking today!

Thankful Thursday 10/11/12

Today’s layout features some pictures from Disney World.  I was on this trip with my husband and my brother’s family.  I’m very thankful that we all went on this trip together.  It was wonderful!  These Mickey ears were super easy with CM’s custom cutting system using the circle templates.  I also used CM’s Disney paper, ABC stickers, and paper ribbon.  Thank you for looking!

Tools Tuesday 10/2/12

Happy October!  How did it get to be October already?  Today’s Tools Tuesday highlights CM’s custom cutting system using the round templates.  This system is the best out there IMHO.  The pictures really tell this story on these totally unrelated 2 pages.  I used CM’s paper ribbon and stickers and black pages – that’s it!.  Thank you for looking!

Thankful Thursday 9/13/12

Today’s Thankful Thursday post is a layout I just completed, although the pictures are from almost 3 years ago.  And it’s a perfect Thankful post since the layout consists of Thanksgiving picctures.  I used CM’s Gratitude paper and I really like this paper pack.  Thank you for looking.  🙂

Favorites Friday

Happy Friday!  Here’s my first favorites post:

Anyone who knows me knows that Disney World is one of my favorite places to be.   The rotary trimmer and square punch with lots of different green papers make this layout super easy.  I also matted the photos to complete the page.  Thanks for looking.

Mojo Monday

Welcome to my first Mojo Monday post:

I think this is a great Mojo Monday layout because Team Amanda definitely had its Mojo going for the Running of the Brides-Boston 2009.  My  daughter-in-law found “the” dress here and it was an experience I’ll never forget and one that I was so thrilled to be a part of.  For this layout I used the large round template; and cut several circles with the circle punch and taped them underneat the big circle.   I used my cricut for the title words added some vellum, the photos, and swirls; and I ended up with a very Mojo happy layout!  Thanks for looking…..

Title Page

This is a great idea I copied for a title page for your book.  Use your large circle from the CCS and draw a circle on your page.  Then punch out a bunch of 1.25″ & 1″ squares using different colors for each size.  Layer the small on the large and tape down the squares on your circle.  Then add stickers – if you want – and whatever you want in the middle of the circle.  I added our id cards for our cruise and a bunch of stickers to make it look really festive – because that’s what a cruise is all about.  Thanks for looking!

Painting the house

For this 2 page spread, I used pretty designer print paper and cut a circle out of coordinating blue.  I cut the circle in  half and put each half on each page to bring the 2 pages together.  I cropped the photos all the same height and taped them down side by side to show the progression of the house painting job.  Then I used my cricut and the Jasmine cart for the title.  I added some doodles and dots, and I was very happy with this layout.
