Your life is a story …. scrapbook it!

It’s Warmhearted Wednesday!

Happy Wednesday!  Today’s layout warms my heart because I love seeing my Molly with her “boyfriend” Cooper who lives down the street.

I used CM’s Cheerful Power Palette for this layout.  And this is another sketch from the online sketch class I’m taking.  Thanks for looking!

Warmhearted Wednesday

Today’s Warmhearted Wednesday post is warmhearted because I’ve always loved Disney’s Electrical Parade – ever since the first time I saw it with a certain 4 year old who thought it was the best parade in the world.

Tools Tuesday – Fall

Here’s a pretty easy layout using the rotary trimmer (with the straight blade) and the square punches.  Using up different orange papers made me happy because I don’t use orange very often.  Thank you for looking!

Favorites Friday

Happy Friday!  Here’s my first favorites post:

Anyone who knows me knows that Disney World is one of my favorite places to be.   The rotary trimmer and square punch with lots of different green papers make this layout super easy.  I also matted the photos to complete the page.  Thanks for looking.

Thankful Thursday

Today’s Thankful Thursday layout is a layout that shows my Mom enjoying life.  I am so thankful for a Mom who embraces life;  always tries to find the positives; and absolutely loves people.

Mojo Monday

Welcome to my first Mojo Monday post:

I think this is a great Mojo Monday layout because Team Amanda definitely had its Mojo going for the Running of the Brides-Boston 2009.  My  daughter-in-law found “the” dress here and it was an experience I’ll never forget and one that I was so thrilled to be a part of.  For this layout I used the large round template; and cut several circles with the circle punch and taped them underneat the big circle.   I used my cricut for the title words added some vellum, the photos, and swirls; and I ended up with a very Mojo happy layout!  Thanks for looking…..

Let the pictures tell the story

Sometimes your pictures are so beautiful, you don’t need much else on your page.  I cut out six squares in two different sizes – 1.25″ and 1″ squares.  Layered them, then used ABC stickers to spell Sunset.  I mounted the photos, and placed them sequentially.  Gorgeous sunset off our balcony.

Stardust Theatre

If you want to make a layout with a theatrical curtain at the top, here’s the layout for you.  Decide what color(s) you want; and punch about 30 – 1.25″ squares.  If you are using 2 different colors like I did, then you will need 12 of one color and about 18 of the other.  Then corner round 10 of them on one corner – this will be the lowest row.  For the top row, the sqares are cut in half.  (the middle row squares are left as is).  Tape them all down, and you’ve got your curtain.

South Beach Fiesta

This border if an example of a super-easy border and can easily be used with different shapes – not just the circles.  I used a designer paper 1.5″ x 12″ strip.  Then cut out five 1.25″ yellow circles; and five 1″ designer paper circles.  Taped them down, and done.  I also matted the pictures with the same designer paper.  I wanted this page to be busy – because it was a very festive party aboard our ship.

Bahamas Flip Flops

I just love the flip flop stickers that I “walked” around my Bahamas pages.  And this triangle corner was so easy – I cut a triangle in royal blue; cut squares in designer brown print.  Then cut the squares in half, and taped down.  So easy.
