Your life is a story …. scrapbook it!

Mojo Monday 9/10/12

Today’s Mojo Monday post shows CM’s gorgeous Reflections paper with some fun water football photos.  I also used CM’s Reflections embellishments.  Thank you for looking!

Favorites Friday

Seeing a no-hitter sure ranks as one of my favorite times.  John and I took my brother and niece to Fenway to watch the Red Sox play the Orioles.  Sometime around the 7th inning, things started feeling different in the park …. there was a buzz and excitement that then continued until the exciting last out.   I wanted the story for sure on the layout; I used a narrow sticker strip across the top and then layered the ABC title stickers on top of the strip.  I added some photos and small baseball stickers and I have a favorite memory.

Baseball Park

For this 2-page spread, I cut out 3 strips of different colored greens at different widths & lengths.  Then added pennant stickers – and there you have it – Fenway Park.  🙂

Super Bowl Sunday

This layout shows my amateur drawings of yardage marks on green cardstock.  And I also was able to cram 8 pictures onto one page.  And I used one-word descriptions for each picture to pretty much cover everything that happened that day.  A day full of fun with my husband, brother, sister-in-law, and nephew.

Red Sox – meeting Heidi Watney

In this layout I used the embossed star maker.  A pretty simple layout really; but also just busy enough with the memorabilia — our tickets and of course Heidi’s autograph.  The journaling box is the finishing touch.
